2023 GeekWire Summit: AI Gets Real

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming all aspects of society. In our 12th annual GeekWire Summit, we explored how large language models, natural language processing, computer vision and other technologies are reshaping the world we live in, transforming everything from Hollywood to Wall Street to Silicon Valley.

We assembled some of the top names in artificial intelligence for the half-day summit, taking place at the former Seattle Cinerama Theater.

In addition to in-depth panels and fireside chats, this year’s Summit will include unique opportunities to connect and a surprise geeky movie screening, topped off with the theater’s world-famous chocolate popcorn! Check out the 2023 GeekWire Summit recap here.

The sun and the smiles were out in force in Seattle for the GeekWire Rooftop BBQ + Mariners Day, as we came together again for great food and drink, epic views and lively conversation.

On the rooftop deck at First Mode in Pioneer Square, the party featured a pre-game chat with Seattle Mariners CEO John Stanton, who shared his views on the team’s playoff chances, the effect of rule changes across Major League Baseball, and why he avoids the term “robot umpires.”

Afterward, the crowd headed down the street to T-Mobile Park to see the M’s pull off another thrilling win — the team’s seventh straight. Check out the full story, here.

Thanks to our presenting sponsor First Mode for bringing the community together for this fun event!
