Whoa, what a month!
October started with a bang, with our big GeekWire Summit on Oct. 2, featuring the always-entertaining CEO of T-Mobile John Legere; U.S. Chief Information Officer Steven VanRoekel; and low-profile Zulily co-founder Mark Vadon.
But it was a 14-year-old entrepreneur from Spokane by the name of Brooke Martin who stole the show with her amazing pitch for the iCPooch.

We’ll be convening the Seattle tech community on Dec. 3rd for the big GeekWire Gala — a fun holiday party at the Museum of History & Industry where we’ll unveil “The Seattle 10;” toast the Newsmakers of the Year and celebrate the holidays in true geek spirit.

Of course, October was also a month of heavy-duty tech news. Nearly every day a big story was breaking.
Amazon.com admitted that they botched the launch of the Fire Phone; Microsoft unveiled a new $199 fitness band; Tim Cook said he was proud to be gay.
