Earlier this month Zillow launched a new “Data Dashboard,” a listing platform that gives brokers and agents more control over how data about their listings appears on Zillow.
The company’s goal is to receive up-to-date data from real estate professionals directly, rather than receiving that information from third-parties, Katie Curnutte, a Zillow spokesperson, told GeekWire.
Now Zillow needs a senior developer to manage data systems, as the company continues to expand its database and pull information from a wider array of sources.
Zillow is looking for a Senior Data Integration Developer to create systems to collect and integrate data from a variety of streams. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of C++ or Java and a BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Amazon is looking for an experienced engineer to play a key role on the e-commerce giant’s Appstore Finance team. This position involves analytical support, merchandising, and business development. The engineer will also design reporting and warehousing solutions. Attention to detail, data mining, and business intelligence skills are required, as well as a bachelor’s degree or higher, and five or more years of experience.
