The inaugural GeekWire Sports Tech Summit at Safeco Field last year.

Our second annual GeekWire Sports Tech Summit on June 21-22 in Seattle is shaping up to be another action-packed event featuring top leaders — NFL COO Tod Leiweke; Seattle Mariners GM Jerry Dipoto; WNBA legend Sue Bird; Bleacher Report CEO Dave Finocchio; and others — along with hundreds of attendees who are excited to talk about the future of sports technology.

Early bird rates end Friday — yes, tomorrow! — so it’s best to grab your tickets now for this unique event before prices go up. Get your tickets today at the registration page, or below:

Co-hosted with the Seattle Sounders FC and Eiger Marketing, the Sports Tech Summit brings together dozens of leading thinkers in data science, sports marketing, virtual reality, eSports, wearables and more for an informative and inspiring event that includes evening cocktail receptions, fireside chats, interactive panels, live demos, a Sounders match, and much more.

limited number of tickets are available for this exclusive event, which will take place at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Again, early-bird rates expire tomorrow, June 2, and given the limited capacity and early interest, we do expect a sellout.

The action will kick off on Wednesday, June 21, with a pre-party leading up to the 7:30 p.m. Sounders FC match against Orlando City.

Then the following day we’ll have several fireside chats and panel discussions on stage as we hear from leaders like League of Legends co-founder Brandon Beck, SeatGeek co-founder Russ D’Souza, LA Dodgers CFO Tucker Kain, San Francisco 49ers President Al Guido, and many others who will share insights about their respective work.

Our inaugural event last year drew more than 300 attendees and featured fascinating talks from folks like L.A. Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin, as well as valuable networking between attendees who worked in a variety of fields and traveled near and far to experience a day full of sports tech innovation in one of country’s top technology cities.

In fact, a research partnership between Seattle startup Athlete Intelligence and a Davidson College mathematics professor was born at last year’s Sports Tech Summit — you can expect more of the same to happen next month.
