T-Mobile success

T-Mobile CEO John Legere is so stoked about his company’s performance in three new independent studies that he’s taken to his blog to exclaim just how much the wireless carrier is “KILLIN’ IT.” And to make sure an even wider audience knows, T-Mobile will premiere a brand new ad campaign on Friday night during the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics.

Legere points out in his post that Bellevue, Wash.-based T-Mobile is tops in “customer satisfaction” and “likelihood to recommend” — over Verizon, AT&T and Sprint — in data released Thursday by Nielsen Mobile Insights.

Legere called his retail and customer care teams the “best in the business” while also crediting T-Mobile’s network success on “the best engineering team in the world.”

He also keyed on a report from OpenSignal that found T-Mobile’s LTE network to be the fastest in the nation. And a new Speedtest report from Ookla that lauded T-Mobile’s success for the past 30 months.

All that pride will be reiterated in an ad campaign that kicks off Friday night along with the Summer Games from Rio de Janeiro. Check out sneak peak:
