According to Amazon, Washington is the most romantic state in the United States. Maybe it’s all of those lovey-dovey engineers working at Amazon’s Seattle headquarters.

The online retail giant released its annual list of “Most Romantic Cities,” as determined by per capita purchase of romance novels and relationship books, romantic comedy movies, romantic music, and sexual wellness products.

Washington was the state with the most cities to make the list, claiming four out of the top twenty spots. This is the first time Washington has had so many steamy cities, with Vancouver, Everett, Seattle, and Bellevue all making the cut.

Virginia, the so-called state for lovers, had only one city make the top 20: Alexandria. The DC suburb took back first place in 2016, knocking last year’s champ, Knoxville, Tenn, down to third place.

This is the third straight year for love-filled Washington cities Vancouver and Everett to make the list. Vancouver retained its 5th place spot from 2015 and Everett dropped from 13th to 14th most romantic since last year.

The real surprises were Seattle and Bellevue, which were not on last year’s list at all. Seattle, a 2014 romantic city, dropped off the radar in 2015. But the Emerald City is back to lovin’ this year, coming in as the 16th most romantic city in the United States. And Bellevue just barely squeaked into the top twenty, coming in last place.

Here’s the top 20:

  1. Alexandria, VA
  2. Miami, FL
  3. Knoxville, TN
  4. Orlando, FL
  5. Vancouver, WA
  6. Cincinnati, OH
  7. Columbia, SC
  8. Pittsburgh, PA
  9. Round Rock, TX
  10. Ann Arbor, MI
  11. Atlanta, GA
  12. Salt Lake City, UT
  13. Scottsdale, AZ
  14. Everett, WA
  15. Gainesville, FL
  16. Seattle, WA
  17. Wilmington, NC
  18. Rochester, NY
  19. Dayton, OH
  20. Bellevue, WA

So while Virginia might be for lovers, apparently so is Washington.

What will Amazon do with so much love in the air in its home state? Increase its shipping operations to send out more music to Barry White listeners? Start a relationships advice service to help its customers in serious relationships with Alexa? We’ll have to see what the year holds.
