minecrafthololensMinecraft, meet HoloLens.

At the big E3 video game conference today, Microsoft showed off a neat demo of a Minecraft game the company is building specifically for HoloLens, its new blended reality headset originally announced back in January.

Gamers can strap on the headset and interact with an animated Minecraft world directly on a surface in front of them. With their voice or gestures, users can pinch or zoom to move objects or see inside and underneath of them. They can also use a controller while being immersed in the game via the headset. The demo was similar to what we saw in January at Microsoft’s headquarters.

Here’s what the demo looked like today at E3:

Also at E3 today, Microsoft unveiled new trailers for Halo 5 that showed off a new multiplayer mode called “Warzone” and details about the new campaign mode. It also unveiled new gameplay video for Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6, and many more titles.

The company also announced that the Xbox One will be able to play Xbox 360 games and revealed a new “Elite” controller.
