Sonos announced today that Amazon Prime Music subscribers can start streaming tunes to their Sonos speakers. The WiFi-enabled speakers already support streaming from Spotify, Google Play Music and Rdio, but the Prime Music streaming is starting out in beta today.
Users with a Prime subscription can add Prime Music in the Sonos app to start streaming Amazon’s curated playlists, Prime Stations or individual artists and albums. Prime Music is part of Amazon’s benefits for Prime users, alongside Amazon Prime Video, two-day shipping and Prime Photos.
The Sonos integration comes a month after Amazon secured the rights to stream Universal Music Group artists like Katy Perry, Drake and Lorde.
