Haiku Deck co-founders Kevin Leneway and Adam Tratt were nominated for a 2014 Webby.

Nominations were released today for the 18th annual Webby Awards, the Oscars-style bash for Internet innovation, creativity and other wacky stuff. As usual, Seattle area companies are well represented on the list of nominees, which spans categories in digital advertising, film, writing, website and mobile apps.

There are eight Seattle-related innovations up for this year’s Webby Awards, which received nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and more than 60 countries this year. Startups like Haiku Deck and Cozi were nominated for their apps, while Seattle-based real estate giant Zillow — which took home some hardware last year — qualified for two categories. Meanwhile, Tred, which allows car shoppers to test drive a variety of vehicles at their homes or offices, was also nominated.

The public has until April 24 to choose their favorites. Winners will be announced on April 29, with the official ceremony slated for May 19 in New York. The show will air online following day.
