ebay1-2eBay is continuing its expansion into the Pacific Northwest, with the latest growth coming in Portland.

The Oregonian reports that the online giant has snatched up another floor in the downtown Portland building it currently works out of, increasing total office space to 70,000 square feet.

eBay already has a large presence in the Seattle region as well. In 2013, the company swooped up 53,000 square feet in downtown Bellevue, which was about double the company’s existing space in Redmond where eBay expanded in 2011 after hiring former Microsoft veteran Ken Moss to lead operations.

eBay is one of many Silicon Valley giants that have established branch operations in the Seattle area, joining the ranks of FacebookTwitterGoogle, eBay, Hulu and Salesforce.com, which all have engineering offices in the region.

Most recently, Twitter opened the company’s first organically-grown engineering office in downtown Seattle after first coming to the city four years prior. Google, meanwhile, has plans to double the size of its campus in Kirkland, a suburb 20 minutes east of Seattle.

Ebay is currently hiring for ten positions in the Seattle region, and four in Portland.
