ps4Both the Xbox One and Playstation 4 have been selling like crazy for the past month, but looks like the PS4 is available on Amazon for a “limited time.”

GameStop, Best Buy and Wal-Mart are all sold out of the console as of Friday afternoon — so, if you’re trying to get a PS4 as a last-second holiday gift, Amazon is probably a good option for now.

The Xbox One, meanwhile, is back-ordered on Amazon until December 28. It is available on Game Stop and in bundle form on Best Buy.

Demand for both the PS4 and Xbox One have been sky high. Microsoft and Sony announced — one week apart — that they had sold 2 million consoles globally earlier this month, and both companies said they sold one million consoles within 24 hours.

Update, 3:40 P.M. Friday: Best Buy tells us that they’ll have PS4 units available at every physical store on Sunday morning at 7 a.m.

“Quantities will vary by location and only one per customer, but we will have units,” a spokesperson told us. “We would recommend that people get there before 7, so they are in position when the doors open.”

Best Buy “feels good” about its Xbox One inventory and has units available at “many of our stores.”
