Sony sold 1 million Playstation 4’s on its first day of sales, and now, Microsoft can say the same.
The company announced today that it sold one million Xbox One’s on day one of sales across 13 countries, marking the biggest launch in Xbox history. Worth noting here that Sony sold its one million in just the U.S. and Canada.
There are, however, a few issues for Microsoft already with several gamers complaining about a broken disc drive. Microsoft hasn’t issued a statement regarding a specific problem, only directing gamers where to go for technical support.
One week after Microsoft congratulated its competitor on its PS4 launch, Sony did the same today.
Congrats, @Xbox @Microsoft! #NextGeneration #GreatnessAwaits
