Our favorite outdoor event is returning to one of the coolest rooftop decks in Seattle.
The GeekWire Sounders Day tailgate is back, taking place on Wednesday, September 18 before the Sounders face Dallas FC.

Bringing together hundreds of Seattle geeks, this fun tech community gathering is followed by the 7:30 p.m. match. We’ll kick off the party at 4:30 p.m. on the Qualtrics’ rooftop, located just a few minutes from CenturyLink Field and boasting spectacular views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier and downtown Seattle.
Grab a pint of brew, a bite of BBQ, enjoy the tunes and connect with fellow geeks while taking in one of the best views in Seattle. Sounders owner Adrian Hanauer will address the crowd, and other fun prizes and games are in store.
Together, we’ll march to the match a little after 7 p.m. and take our reserved block of seats amongst the Sounders faithful to sing, chant and cheer for the Rave Green. You can go here to purchase your tickets to the match/party, with the GeekWire crew in section 116. Tickets to the match/party are $30 for developers and engineers, and $35 general admission.
Already have your own tickets to the match? No problem. You can still join us for pregame festivities! Tickets for the rooftop party start at $7 for developers and engineers, and $12 for general admission. Food and beverage will be provided, courtesy of presenting sponsor and co-host Qualtrics.
