One of the key events on Microsoft’s yearly calendar kicks off later this morning, as thousands of developers crowd into the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle for Build 2018.

CEO Satya Nadella will kick off three days of keynotes and technical sessions at 8:30 a.m. Pacific on Monday, and here you’ll find coverage from myself, Todd Bishop, and Nat Levy as we follow the events live from Microsoft’s annual developer show. Today’s keynote will likely be heavy on cloud computing technologies and Microsoft’s evolving vision of what it calls “the intelligent edge” during a three-hour address.

We’ll post links to our coverage as the day unfolds. Also tune in at noon Pacific today for a GeekWire live stream from the event, with guests Scott Guthrie, executive vice president of Microsoft Cloud + AI Group; and Lorraine Bardeen, GM Studio Manager for mixed reality at Microsoft. We’ll be back Tuesday for the second day of keynotes. That one is likely to focus on Microsoft’s consumer technology efforts.
