LAS VEGAS — If you thought talking to your washing machine via Amazon’s Alexa was the most grueling example of real-world combat that would be unveiled at CES, think again. The folks at History are promoting their new military drama series “Six,” about the famed Navy SEAL team, with real night vision ops training on Wednesday.

History is inviting attendees into a special training facility where they can get a glimpse of life as a Navy SEAL, the heavily trained and specialized combat members whose lives and missions are depicted in the new TV series.

Visitors will get a tactical vest, helmet and night vision goggles. In fact, in order to experience the latest in SEAL technology, participants must provide a passport for proof of U.S. citizenship.

Once inside, wannabe SEALs will navigate a pitch-black maze of physical obstacles and visual challenges and take part in simulated combat missions using the high-tech gear.

“Six” premieres Jan. 18 at 10 p.m. ET on History. Check out more in the trailer below and on the show’s Facebook page.
