It’s almost time for the GeekWire Sports Tech Summit.
We’re excited to bring together the leading thinkers and innovators working at the intersection of sports and technology for our second annual Sports Tech Summit this June 21-22 in Seattle at CenturyLink Field.

The Sports Tech Summit is designed to give you a rare glimpse into the future of sports, and how technology will change the way we play, coach, manage, watch, and experience the games so many of us love.
Last year at the inaugural event, we heard from leaders like Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer, Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber, and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin. They talked about everything from the potential to transform the fan experience, to how athletes use the newest technology, to why innovation is such a priority for MLS.
This year, we have another packed agenda featuring speakers like Seattle Mariners GM Jerry Dipoto; NFL COO Tod Leiweke; San Francisco 49ers President Al Guido; WNBA legend Sue Bird; Bleacher Report CEO Dave Finocchio; League of Legends co-founder Brandon Beck; Key Arena renovation leader Tim Leiweke; and many others.
Networking
There will be plenty of great networking opportunities with other innovators and leaders in the sports tech industry. The mix of sports fans, tech geeks, and everyone in between makes for a special experience.
Attendees at last year’s event said they enjoyed meeting others who are also excited about the intersection of sports and tech. Tons of connections were made — for example, a Seattle startup met a Davidson College researcher and formed a partnership that is still ongoing today.
Fun
Before the on-stage discussions take place on June 22, folks will have a chance to grab food and drinks while meeting fellow attendees at a fun Welcome Party in the east loft area of CenturyLink Field. People will then get to watch a Sounders match in one of the most electric environments in professional soccer.
