There’s virtually no limit to the way we communicate these days: Skype, Snapchat, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter — the list goes on and on.
But a good, old-fashioned text message is still an important communication tool, which has helped to fuel the success of Seattle-based Zipwhip. The company lets its customers send and receive texts via landlines and computers, and it’s looking for a senior software engineer to join its team.
The engineer will work with a team to solve technical issues and complex engineering problems. The person will be responsible for designing, architecting and developing software and system solutions for Zipwhip’s product.
And because its user base is growing quickly, the engineer will need to develop scalable, distributed systems and know how to solve problems related to user content and large data sets.
