The GeekWire Summit kicked off yesterday with an amazing slate of speakers, and we’ll be back on the stage again this morning at 8:30 a.m. for an impactful diversity and inclusion panel.

This is one of most important  topics we’ll discuss at the Summit, and we’re thrilled that Zillow Group COO Amy Bohutinsky will lead a timely panel that will provide actionable lessons and advice on how organizations can authentically instill diversity and inclusion. Panelists will include Moz CEO Sarah Bird; HERE Seattle co-founder Eric Osborne; and Effenus Henderson, co-director of the Institute of Sustainable Diversity & Inclusion. This breakfast session will take place in the Willow Room.

Other highlights coming up today: a fireside chat with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at 9:30 a.m.; another installment of our fast-paced Inventions We Love pitch session at 1:30 p.m.; a surprise announcement from GeekWire at 1:50 p.m that you will not want to miss; and a closing panel on “Tech, Media and the Future of the Truth” at 1:55 p.m.

You can see all of the coverage of the GeekWire Summit here. A big thanks to Bank of America for serving as title sponsor of the Summit, which is also supporting our Geeks Give Back program to promote STEM education in Washington state. See you at the Summit!
