Apple spent years trying to out-cool Microsoft in TV ads but now it’s the Redmond company accusing its top competitor of being “a bit square.”

In a new ad, with a catchy jingle, Microsoft touts the Surface Pro 4’s features, like detachable keys, touchscreen, and high-quality display. The singer serenading the Surface says the MacBook Air, by comparison, is less useful, “like a hat for your cat.”

The ad is reminiscent of the iconic “I’m a Mac” commercials starring Justin Long as Apple’s hip, edgy computer personified.

For the past few years, Microsoft has been running commercials trying to show why its devices are better than Apple’s, and even offered a deal that paid customers $650 toward a new Surface Pro 3 if they turned in their Macbook Air. Earlier this month, it put out a separate ad taking aim at Apple’s iPad Pro product.
