image001T-Mobile will be holding another one of its “Un-Carrier” events in New York on March 18 to introduce a new initiative that will be “rewriting the rules of wireless.” The company sent out an invitation to members of the press via email this afternoon.

Per usual, the Bellevue-based company isn’t saying what the event is about. The only hint T-Mobile has offered is an image saying that “This one’s a real piece of work.” That would seem to imply some connection to business customers, but it’s really anyone’s guess what the event is about.

Past Un-Carrier moves have been pivotal for T-Mobile’s business. The company’s previous announcements included the abolishment long-term service contracts, offering users a free test drive of its network, enabling wi-fi calling, and launching a new “Data Stash” that lets people roll over their unused cellular data.
