Reddit, known for its AMAs with famous folk, has taken the format one step further with video.

Today, the series called Reddit Originals launched with astrophysicist/StarTalk host Neil deGrasse Tyson; FiveThirtyEight’s editor Nate Silver and performer/actor Hilary Duff.

Past regular Reddit AMAs have included Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking and Edward Snowden. This will be an intriguing new twist on what had been a text-only chat forum. The videos are about 10 minutes of material taken from actual Reddit chats, in which the guest star then addresses a few AMA questions on camera.

Watch the first couple spots, Tyson above on art, and Nate Silver (below) on stats, particularly politics. (And here’s the link to Duff.)
