Linus Torvalds, Linux creator and one of our favorite geeks only getting edged out by Nikola Tesla in our Geek Madness contest, took to the skies for the ultimate flight experience this weekend.

As The Oregonian reports, Torvalds got to ride in a fighter jet and experience zero g at the Oregon International Air Show this past weekend.

In the video, you’ll see a smiling Torvalds calling the ride, “cool, but not pukey.” However, he also said he felt that the pilot took the “flips” a little easier since he was a newbie.

Either way, it’s good to be a famous geek. You get to do stuff like this.

Next up? LinuxCon in Seattle Aug. 17-19.
