In a surprise announcement, Comedy Central announced today that Jon Stewart is leaving The Daily Show, the satirical news show that the comedian reinvented upon his arrival in 1999. Over the years, Stewart has ripped dictators, politicians, celebrities and, yes, even some technology executives.

The news got us thinking about all of the awesome interviews that Stewart has conducted with technology pioneers over the years, as well as some hilarious news segments. Here are just a few of our favorite moments. We’ll miss you, Jon!

1. May 2013 Geek Humor: Jon Stewart rips Apple and U.S. Senators
