In July legal advice startup Avvo announced plans to hire 80 new employees this year. The Seattle-based company has listings in a variety of fields on GeekWork, GeekWire’s jobs site, including its first dedicated copywriter position.
“You will be instrumental in improving existing copy and contributing to the development of the Avvo message going forward,” writes Avvo in the listing. “You should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big while paying careful attention to detail, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.”
Avvo is looking for a candidate with at least three years of copywriting experience and a degree in a writing or communications related field.
