Rain showers are forecast for Seattle over the next 10 days, which means it’s time to hunker down inside and play some board games with your geek neighbors, friends and colleagues.
That’s right folks. One of our favorite events of the year is coming up next Tuesday, Nov. 17th: Our fantastically fun GeekWire Game Night is back! Light appetizers and drinks will be provided by our Game Night sponsor: Amazon Web Services’ Kumo Software Team. In addition, AWS plans to raffle off two pairs of tickets to the Seattle Seahawks-San Francisco 49ers game on Nov. 22nd.
Other great prizes in store too, so you won’t want to miss any of the fun.
GeekWire Game Night will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Spitfire bar and grille in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. Tickets are available here, and at the bottom of this post.
In addition to board games like Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride, we’ll host a fun trivia competition — where close readers of GeekWire will be challenged to a news quiz like no other. Also, my mom will be in attendance to challenge folks to Bill Gates’ favorite card game: bridge.
