If the ’90s mean more to you than the vintage baby doll dresses and Dr. Martens section at your favorite thrift store, heads up.

Alanis Morissette, Gen X icon, God in Kevin Smith’s Dogma, and dater of Dave Coulier, put out a little hit that decade called “Ironic.” And this week, she rewrote it for an entire new generation brought up on social media and streaming videos.

With lines like “It’s like they announce a new iPhone, the day after you buy it,” and “it’s like swiping left on your future soulmate,” it’s pretty good.

Watch Morissette perform her famous song with The Late Late Show‘s James Corden, which comes on right after Stephen Colbert.
