EnergySavvy ID-Color (1)EnergySavvy and Opower have teamed up to offer their technology to energy companies together in an attempt to present a united front as the energy industry continues to modernize.

The two firms will be working together to provide utilities with an end-to-end solution for customer engagement and demand-side management. Southern California Edison will be one of the first energy companies to take advantage of the integrated offerings, and will use Opower’s technology along along with its partners (including EnergySavvy) to create customer engagement solutions.

Overall, EnergySavvy and Opower have almost 20 shared clients so far.

In addition to the partnership news, EnergySavvy also announced that it has been tapped to power “Energy Profile” an online experience for customers of AEP Ohio that will help them save energy. The service offers customers an online energy audit, which will give them suggestions based on their home about who they can improve their energy efficiency.
