This week on the GeekWire radio show, we’re joined by tech and media industry veteran Scott Moore, president of and COO Cheezburger, the Seattle-based network of comedy sites such as I Can Has Cheezburger, Fail Blog, Know Your Meme and others.

Moore, a veteran of Microsoft and Yahoo, tells us about his return to the startup world, and catches us up on Cheezburger’s status, including the company’s return to profitability in the fourth quarter. We also get his thoughts on the future of media, Microsoft and Yahoo.

Listen to the show using the audio player below or via this MP3 file.

Our conversation with Moore begins in the second segment, after our weekly news roundup. Topics this week include Google’s $3.2 billion purchase of Nest, maker of the smart thermostats and smoke detectors. We also talk Seahawks, of course, and our bet on the big game with Bay Area-based blog Re/code.

App of the Week: Horizon, for iPhone and iPad, makes sure your video is always horizontal.
