geekwiregala-300x250‘Tis the season to get geeky.

Back by popular demand, we’re excited to announce one of our favorite events of the year — the GeekWire Gala.

Tickets are now on sale for this fun holiday bash —taking place Dec. 4 at the newly-renovated Museum of History & Industry in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood.

Last year, more than 800 people attended this festive party, hanging with friends from the tech community and spreading holiday cheer. This year, we’re expecting another large crowd as we celebrate the holidays “geek style” at one of the coolest venues in the city.

Tickets will go fast for this one, so don’t snooze. Early-bird prices are in effect through Nov 22. We also have special group-rate pricing, so you can make the GeekWire Gala your company’s holiday party (just with other friends from the tech community).

As in years past, we’ll be toasting the top Newsmakers of the Year— anointing them with snazzy black and red GeekWire soccer scarfs. This year, we’re also excited to partner with MOHAI and the new Bezos Center for Innovation in selecting the “Seattle 10” — recognizing ten of the hottest startup companies in our fair city.

These companies will be announced on GeekWire in the coming weeks, and as a special treat, they will be sketching out their world-changing business ideas on giant 6-foot by 6-foot cocktail napkins, which will make their debut at the Gala on Dec. 4th. (You won’t want to miss these creations).

We’re looking forward to catching up with all of you on Dec. 4, celebrating a wonderful year in Seattle tech and helping to support this year’s charitable partner, Seattle Children’s Research Institute. So, mark your calendars and get those tickets today!

A big thanks to our sponsors for making the GeekWire Gala possible: WhitePages; Moz; Wave Business Solutions; Seattle Children’s Research Institute; First Tech Credit Union; Vertafore; Vitamin T; and Protingent.
