Update: Here’s Microsoft’s statement, via a spokesperson: “We’re aware that some users are having difficulties logging in to some services. Our engineers are working to fully resolve this as soon as possible.”
Microsoft cloud-based services like Outlook, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive, and Skype are experiencing an outage for the second time in two weeks.
Users worldwide reported issues on Tuesday with signing into these services, as ZDNet reported, with problems starting around 10:30 a.m. PT. DownDetector.com shows thousands of outages for Outlook, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive, and Office 365.
“Our engineers and developers are actively continuing to work to resolve the issue causing some members to have problems finding previously-purchased content or purchasing new content. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience,” Microsoft wrote on its Xbox Live status page.
“We’re deploying a fix to restore service. Users should begin to experience service restoration as the fix is rolled out,” Microsoft wrote on its Office 365 service health page.

We’ve reached out to Microsoft for details and will update this story when we hear back.
Microsoft had a similar outage earlier this month.
