The Seattle Seahawks completely obliterated the Denver Broncos in just about every facet of Sunday’s Super Bowl. Off the field, however, is where Denver found some success.
The Broncos dominated the conversation on Twitter — probably because everyone was talking about how poorly the Peyton Manning-led team was performing during its 43-8 loss.

All in all, 5.6 million people composed more than 24.9 million tweets about the game and halftime show, breaking the 24.1 million tweets sent during last year’s Super Bowl.

Another interesting social media stat to note: Hashtags were used in 57 percent of nationally-run Super Bowl ads, up from 50 percent last year.
