Inside Appature’s new offices in Seattle.

Fast-growing Appature, the six-year-old Seattle startup led by Kabir Shahani, has moved to more spacious offices in Seattle.

The new offices, located at 1633 Westlake Avenue North, overlook Lake Union. (Correction: I’ve corrected the description of the neighborhood where Appature is now located).

The company had previously been located in downtown Seattle in 15,000 square feet of space. The new offices have 19,000 square feet.

“Having a fun, open space that supports collaboration among our technology team, client-facing team members and partners was a key factor in selecting the right location for us,” Shahani. “As we continue to grow within the industry and work with larger clients, it’s imperative that our space supports our needs, from functionality and productivity to consistent connection within the team.”

The healthcare marketing startup, which raised $6.1 million last summer from Madrona Venture Group and Ignition, now employs 55 people. Its cloud-based software is used by various healthcare companies to better track and enhance marketing campaigns.

How is this at all Fremont? This is significantly closer to SLU than Fremont?! And a 2 mile walk to Gas Works?!!

Hey all. That was my error. I’ve corrected the story.

Picture caption still says Fremont… such high quality editorial standards on this site.

How is that near Gasworks? Or Fremont?

[LOL. Slow on the submit button...]

I agree with the other posters. This address is neither in Fremont nor near Gas Works Park.

Just say no next time. This is an obvious PR pitch that really has no useful information for your audience. This could just be reported in a short concise tweet: Appature moves offices to 1633 Westlake Avenue North.

We do keep track of where companies are moving, and real estate news as a it relates to the tech community. In fact, a number of our readers are involved in the real estate business, so we think this sort of information is useful.

Another example from last week is the report we did on Zulily looking at moving into the RealNetworks space.

Not everyone follows us on Twitter, so we do think there is value in posting this sort of information on GeekWire. Thanks for tuning in, and hope you find some other stories on GeekWire today that you find interesting.

Perhaps Appature has developed portal technology which will transport their employees to the Red Door for after work drinks without a two mile hike along the shores of Lake Union.

Fremont??? This is nowhere near Fremont. This location sucks btw, I used to work on the same block up on Dexter and there are very few amenities nearby. For the folks at Appature that are used to work in downtown, this will be a major blow.
