InternMatch, which helps students find high-quality internships at companies such as Walt Disney, Amazon and Blue Nile, has raised $500,000 in fresh capital. Founded in Seattle by Nathan Parcells, Andrew Maguire and Kyle Wilkinson in May 2009, the company moved its headquarters to San Francisco in October 2010.

Investors in the most recent round include Netflix Founder Marc Randolph; Mafia Wars Founder Roger Dickey; 500 Startups; TeachStreet founder Dave Schappell and others.

In addition to the new financing, the company is rolling out a new service called “Community Pages” that allows companies to share video, blog posts, social media musings and more from individual companies. Participants in that program include SEOMoz, Zulily and Yelp.

Here’s Maguire talking about InternMatch at the TechCafe event in Seattle last year.

Congrats to InternMatch on incredible progress. I remember this TechCafe – was it really just a year ago?

Aaron I didn’t realize you were there!  Funny how we just met for the first time now in San Francisco.  Congrats to you on all the success with LazyMeter.

John thanks for writing this story, it’s humbling to see the video with the v1 of InternMatch and think of the progress we have made and the incredible support we have had along the way.
