I’m Spencer Rascoff, the CEO of Zillow, one of the largest real estate websites. I grew up in New York (go Dalton Tigers!) and then LA (go Harvard-Westlake Wolverines!). I got my BA at Harvard (no B-School for me) and then worked at Goldman-Sachs as an investment banker, and at TPG as a private equity investor. While at TPG in 1999, I co-founded Hotwire, a leading discount travel company which we sold to Expedia in 2003. I left Expedia in 2005 with several colleagues to help get Zillow started, and that’s where you’ll still find me.

When I’m not working at Zillow, I’m hanging out with my wife (a pediatrician at Seattle Children’s Hospital), our three young children, and our dog Fido.
