  • Tango Card employs more than 250 people and is led by CEO David Leeds, who founded the company in 2009.
  • In a LinkedIn post, Leeds said the acquisition will help Tango “continue our mission on a much larger scale.” He added: “The announcement is the result of 15 years of daily commitment to our enterprise customers and their reward, incentive, and payout recipients.”
  • Blackhawk previously invested in Tango Card, which raised a $35 million round in 2018 from FTV Capital.
