— Somerville, Mass.-based 3D printer company Formlabs appointed Microsoft Chief Marketing Officer Chris Capossela to its board of directors.

Capossela has spent more than 30 years at the Redmond, Wash.-based tech giant, working in various leadership roles.

Founded in 2011, Formlabs sells hardware, software and materials for 3D printing. The startup’s printers, which range in price from $2,500 to $25,000, are sold to businesses in industries such as healthcare to jewelry. It has raised more than $250 million from backers including Softbank, DFJ, Pitango, Kapor Capital, Foundry Group, and others

— Seattle biotech company Omeros named Andreas Grauer as chief medical officer. He previously held chief medical officer positions at Federation Bio and Corcept Therapeutics.

Jeffrey Roh will be chief medical officer at healthcare startup Excel Health. The Seattle company is part of IntuitiveX‘s portfolio, a healthcare incubator founded by Roh in 2016.

— Seattle cybersecurity company Cyemptive Technologies named Jean-Luc Cervera as business development senior consultant. He will help the company with its expansion into the French, Belgium and Italian markets. Cervera previously served as vice president at Hitachi Data Systems.
