Next time you head to a Seahawks game or Sounders FC match, or to a concert or any other event at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, don’t bother bringing cash with you for concessions, parking or retail items — the stadium is going entirely cashless.

  • CenturyLink will now only accept credit, debit and prepaid cards in an effort to remove the need to handle cash and speed the transaction process throughout the venue. Cards are already used for approximately 75 percent of all concessions sales and 90 percent of retail purchases.
  • Visitors who bring cash and do not have a credit card can convert the cash to prepaid cards at 10 ReadySTATION kiosks throughout the stadium and the CenturyLink Field Event Center. WAMU Theater is also adopting the policy. The prepaid cards can be used outside the stadium anywhere major cards are accepted.
  • CenturyLink has also utilized identity verification technology from CLEAR, which allows users to purchase food or alcohol with just the scan of a fingertip. The service is also available next door at T-Mobile Park.
