Lynch joined Fred Hutch as president on Feb. 1, just before the COVID-19 crisis escalated in the Seattle region and globally. At the time, he outlined a four-point plan to help guide Fred Hutch in its quest to treat and ultimately cure cancer.
He’s a scientist and oncologist who was part of the first research team to discover how targeted therapies could help lung cancer patients with a specific genetic mutation. Lynch was most recently chief scientific officer of Bristol-Myers Squibb.
This live virtual event will take place at 1:30 p.m. Pacific time Thursday, May 21, with questions from webinar participants to follow Lynch’s conversation with GeekWire editor Todd Bishop.
