Mike Sievert took the helm of T-Mobile earlier this year at a pivotal moment for the Bellevue, Wash.-based company, leapfrogging AT&T to claim the title of second-largest U.S. wireless carrier following the completion of its $26.5 billion Sprint merger.

Now, with the era of 5G wireless upon us, Sievert is expanding T-Mobile’s footprint beyond the traditional wireless industry, taking on the cable and telecom giants with new television and home internet services, while upholding the trash-talking traditions of his predecessor in the role, John Legere.

We’ll talk about the challenges and opportunities ahead for the company, and explore what’s next in our increasingly wireless world on the final day of the GeekWire Summit, in a session exclusive to event attendees.

Sievert is one of dozens of top tech, science, health and business leaders joining us as featured speakers at the event, taking place virtually through Oct. 29.

You can still register here or below to attend the virtual GeekWire Summit. All registered attendees get exclusive access to GeekWire Summit sessions, live and on-demand, including sessions that took place previously.

This is the ninth year of the GeekWire Summit, our signature conference on technology, science and innovation, and as with everything else in the world these days, it looks a little different. We’ve created a virtual experience, spreading the event out over three-week period in October, with the fireside chats and panels taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We’re still buzzing with insights from the past two weeks and we’re not done yet. Check out all of our Summit coverage here and join us tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 29 for the final day of the GeekWire Summit.
