You don’t have to be in the Seattle Seahawks locker room or on the sidelines to get motivated by Pete Carroll. Just ask Alexa to summon the head coach’s wisdom.

Amazon has teamed its voice assistant with Carroll and the hometown football team for several experiences, including random thoughts, inspirational messages, fun facts and more straight from the coach’s mouth — on Alexa-enabled devices.

Fans can say, “Alexa, what’s Pete Carroll’s thought of the day?” now through Aug. 30 to hear Carroll. When we asked on Friday, Carroll waxed about the importance of “self talk” and how the habit helps individuals set their sights on what’s ahead.

Alexa then chimed in with a pitch for Carroll’s book, “Compete to Create: An Approach to Living and Leading Authentically,” which she offered to read.

The voice AI also revealed herself to be a total Seahawks homer when asked more football-themed questions. You thought Russell Wilson was a robot. Wait until you hear “Hut hut hike!” and “12th man for life!” being shouted by an actual ‘bot. Try saying this stuff:

  • “Alexa, who’s your favorite coach?”
  • “Alexa, what is your favorite football team?”
  • “Alexa, who do you want to win the Super Bowl?”
  • “Alexa, who is your favorite football player?”
  • “Alexa, go Hawks!”
