Observers expect Microsoft to unveil the next generation of its HoloLens “mixed reality” headset later this month, and a new video posted by the creator of the device added fuel to the fire.

Alex Kipman, Microsoft technical fellow and HoloLens creator, posted a 42-second video teaser to YouTube this morning. It doesn’t have any specific references to HoloLens, but it does appear to show a processor and some carbon fiber pieces that could be part of the frame.

The teaser ends with the date Feb. 24 and the location Barcelona. That is when Microsoft will make its presentation at the Mobile World Congress Barcelona event, a major gathering in the mobile industry.

Reports have linked the video and Microsoft’s MWC presentation with the long-rumored HoloLens 2, with an improved field of view and a more comfortable frame. We’ll be watching Microsoft’s presentation for more potential information on this device, as well anything else the tech giant might announce — foldable phone/tablet, perhaps?
