After a year of high-stakes competition and frenzied speculation, Amazon’s search for a second headquarters ended on Tuesday with a strange twist.

The company announced it is establishing not one but three new outposts. Its initial HQ2, which it described as a $5 billion infrastructure project that would bring 50,000 jobs to one lucky city, will effectively be split in two between Crystal City in Arlington, Va., and Queens in New York City. The company also announced a 5,000 person logistics office to be established in Nashville.

Join GeekWire Co-founders John Cook and Todd Bishop live as they dissect the news and the repercussions of the tech giant’s extraordinary search.
