You’ve just founded a new company and it’s time to start pitching to investors. What do you do?
Pitching the concept behind an early-stage startup is a challenge for any entrepreneur, and GeekWire is adding some extra pressure with its Elevator Pitch video series, pitting startup founders against each other to compete for fame and fortune.
On the latest episode of the GeekWire podcast, we sat down with two startup founders who won their respective episodes: Kwame Boler, CEO and co-founder at NEU, the vacation rental cleaning startup; and Cassie Wallender, the co-founder and chief product officer at Invio, an enterprise software startup that helps speed up clinical trials at biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
We ask them about their companies, their entrepreneurial journeys and, of course, what they’re planning for the final competition of the series, where the nine finalists will face off on stage at the GeekWire Summit.
This episode was recorded on location at the NeighborHub at Columbia Bank in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. A big thanks to Columbia Bank for sponsoring the live event. Watch the archived live stream below.
