Scientists at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence get to work on some cool projects. One of those projects, Semantic Scholar, is looking for a new product manager to join its team.

Semantic Scholar is a nonprofit, academic search engine for peer-reviewed research that uses AI to quickly extract relevant information from publications. The tool currently covers topics in medicine and computer science, so users might want to search for things like “Alan M. Turning,” “cybersecurity” or “neuroblastoma.”

The new product manager will communicate with teams across engineering, research, and design to implement new features and prioritize projects. On a day to day basis, this individual might be found meeting with others at the Allen Institute, developing specifications and mocks for new features, representing the voice of the customer in decision making, analyzing research to support proposals, or performing cost/benefit analysis of proposed features.
