Our biggest event of the year — The GeekWire Anniversary Bash — is fast approaching. And we’ve got plenty of wackiness in store for March 15th at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field Event Center. Nearly 2,000 developers, engineers, entrepreneurs and other geeks are expected for this afternoon and evening of merriment, silliness and networking. Everything from VR to video games to a Joule cooking station to a cross-venue zipline will greet attendees.
General admission tickets are on sale here, but they are going fast so don’t snooze if you want to get in on the action.
The Bash, presented by First Tech Federal Credit Union, is a place to strut your company’s competitive spirit and have a little fun with other members of the tech community. Already, large teams from companies such as ReachNow, Navigating Cancer, T-Mobile, Tune, Skykick, Geocaching, Rover, Redfin, and Remitly are signed up, so don’t miss your chance to join the fun.
In addition to the free-flowing activities, we’ll also be hosting organized tournaments in events such as foosball, dodgeball, ping pong and Settlers of Catan (tickets still available for Catan, if you want to trade some wheat, ore, sheep, brick and wood).
We’re also excited to introduce many of our Impact Partners, a special zone at the Bash where non-profit organizations will strut their stuff. KEXP DJ Morgan will be back to spin some tunes, and we’ll have a few other surprises in store.
A big thanks to this year’s title sponsor: First Tech Federal Credit Union.
