Make room, Marvel and Star Wars and many more. Funko, the pop culture consumer products company with a stable of top-shelf licenses, announced a new partnership with Epic Games to create toys and collectibles around the mega-popular “Fortnite” video game.
The new branded collection will feature more than 10 different product lines from the Everett, Wash.-based Funko, including Pop! figures, 5 Star figures, Pint Size Heroes, Vnyl, keychains, apparel and more.
“Fortnite: Battle Royale,” a multi-player shooter game, has attracted millions of players around the world. Players can drop into a massive 100-player fight or team up with friends to take on enemies. It’s available on multiple platforms.
“We are thrilled to collaborate and partner with Epic Games to create the inaugural Fortnite product collection and to bring these characters to life for the first time,” Brian Mariotti, CEO of Funko, said in a news release. “This collection will be a true celebration of Fortnite’s incredible popularity and cultural significance, and we believe our Funko Fortnite collectibles will strongly resonate with fans of the game.”
The collection will launch for the 2018 holidays and be available from a range of retailers worldwide.
