A film festival out of New York dedicated to the art of drone cinematography went to great heights to pick its winners this past weekend.

A range of entries showcase what’s possible with drone cameras, and the festival’s best in show provides a dizzying 3 1/2 minutes of overhead footage of someone running across a variety of landscapes down below.

“2D Run — MMP 3 (Mixed Motion Project)” splices together footage of seemingly normal running and jumping with some pretty crazy rooftop parkour moves. The film was shot by Ilko Iliev and Marin Kafedjiiski out of Bulgaria.

Other winners in the third annual New York City Drone Film Festival included a documentary on the protests surrounding the Dakota Access Pipeline, called “#NoDAPL: Drones Monitor North Dakota Police.”

“Drone Star Wars” won in the narrative category and features R2-D2 flying an X-wing fighter by himself as he engages in a dramatic dogfight with some TIE fighters.

Check out the NYCDFF site for more winners in sports, architecture and other categories.
