Tickets are now on sale for our biggest event of the year: The GeekWire Anniversary Bash on March 15th.

This fun geeky carnival of sorts brings together more than 1,000 revelers at the CenturyLink Field Event Center in Seattle’s stadium district for some of our favorite geeky games and activities.

Best known for our annual ping pong tournament — now spanning three different brackets of beginner, intermediate and expert — the Bash is a place to strut your company’s competitive spirit and have a little fun with other members of the tech community.

Early-bird tickets are on sale now for the ping pong, foosball and dodgeball tournaments, as well as general admission tickets. Go here to get your early-bird tickets, and make sure to tell your HR manager that the Bash is the recruiting event of the spring (as long as they don’t mind mingling with folks in headbands and sweat pants!)

Early-bird prices end Feb. 10th.

Last year, things got a little crazy on the dodgeball court, and because there was so much excitement we are tripling the size of the dodgeball area this year, including an open play area. Make sure to sign up your company’s team of eight today, as this tournament sells out fast!

We’re also bringing back the video game zone, and fan favorites beer pong, sumo wrestling and the basketball game we call G-E-E-K.

Serious ping pong action at the GeekWire Bash

We have a few other fun surprises in store for this year, marking GeekWire’s 6th anniversary! We hope you can join us for the fun.

The deadline for entering the ping-pong and foosball tournaments is March 1, and we encourage companies to hold internal competitions in advance to find the best players to send for the intermediate and expert brackets. Companies traditionally send large groups to cheer on their competitors, and the final rounds promise to be even more epic this year at the new venue. As in years past, we’ll be awarding a Spirit Prize to the most enthusiastic and wildly dressed group at the event.
