It’s graduation season, and Bill Gates, who has given a commencement address or two in his day, took to Twitter this morning to offer some advice to college grads, explaining what he’d focus on if he were just starting out.

No, not plastics. In 2017, it’s AI, biosciences and energy.

Gates went on to post about what he wished he had known when he left college — including these observations below and, of course, a book recommendation.
