The tech giant’s DeepMind AI successfully navigated a 3D maze without reading the game’s code. Instead, the machine analyzed patterns in the digital space the way a human playing the game might. DeepMind was also able to make decisions based on past experiences.
This advancement brings Google one step closer to teaching artificially intelligent machines to mimic human movements in physical space.
